Welcome! I’m Rosie (she/her), an Independent Celebrant who creates heart-led and unforgettable ceremonies for beautiful souls.
Whether you’re celebrating love, honouring a life, or marking a new beginning, I’m here to help you do it in a way that feels completely you — grounded, authentic, and full of meaning.
From intimate forest blessings to vibrant community farewells, I travel across the UK and beyond to hold space for life’s most important moments.

Independent Celebrant, Wordsmith and Ritualist based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.
Ceremony is an ancient art — one that can ground us, unite us, and make sense of life’s biggest shifts. I craft personalised ceremonies that honour your story, your beliefs, and your people.
In 2024 I completed my training with Heart-Led Celebrants and became a certified Independent Celebrant.
Co-creating with open-hearted individuals, couples and communities, as a queer, cis-woman of mixed heritage I’m especially honoured to serve those who walk a brave and creative path; those who like their spaces held in respect of their full humanity, ancestry and lived experience.
More so than ever now, we need to connect to what is sacred. We need space and time to do that. We need to be held.
A bit more about me
- Rugby-mum of two strong willed daughters
- Caribbean Celt of Jamaican, Irish and Scottish heritage
- Adopted and in reunion with birth family, now with a very big family
- Holds an undergraduate degree in Swahili and Development Studies (SOAS)
- In a past work-life organised badass music festivals in Zanzibar, East Africa
- Newborn welcome-committee member as a birth-keeper/doula since 2017
- Laughter and nature, best medicine. Job done.
- Loves karaoke, reflexology, frisbee, 1000-piece jigsaws and foraging
- Will sing harmonies to pretty much every song
- Care and love of culture, indigineity, ancestry and heritage

Meet & Plan
Whether online or in person, at a location of your choice, we can meet once or twice. Gentle questions and listening, free speaking on your intentions, your story and what you are wanting.
Transparent fees
After our initial conversation I will send over a clear package breakdown and fee based on your needs. A non-refundable deposit secures your date with balance paid in advance. I can offer payment plans.
Writing
I craft a personalised ceremony into script form for you to review. This will include recommendations for music, poetry and readings as well as personalised rituals informed by your intentions.
Travel
UK – fees are inclusive of travel for ceremonies within 20 miles of Ampthill, thereafter 45p per mile.
Destination – travel is calculated at cost and will be incorporated into your package
Communicate
From booking me, I remain available on WhatsApp, text and email to run-through any ideas or practicalities as they arise up until the day of the ceremony. Co-creating a ceremony that expresses your wishes is key.
You're held
On the day of the ceremony, I will be present to gently lead the ceremony, officiating with calm, kindness and presence. I am available to offer a rehearsal ahead of the ceremony, as needed
